I truly believe the market is turning. We are right on the border of the shift to a sellers market. With the inventory hovering so low at only around 10,000 homes on the market, and many buyers looking it will soon change. I am finding homes in all price ranges are selling. Sellers may soon see more appreciation and with interest rates as low as 3.65 for a 30 year fixed mortgage (less for a 10 or 15 year fixed), it is a perfect time to sell a current home and buy another with these low interest rates.

Many sellers think they need to wait until spring or summer to put their home on the market. But with inventory this low now is the time they should be putting their homes on the market. I am being contacted by numerous out of town buyers looking for a home as well as local buyers and there is not a lot to choose from.
